Return Policy

30 day returns on hair care products.

All makeup and styling tools (flat irons, curling irons, hairdryers, brushes, etc.) are final sale and non-refundable.

Latecomer Policy

If a client is more than 10 minutes late for their appointment, the stylist may decide to reschedule the service at their own discretion. A fee may also be required for reschedule.

Reschedule Policy

If we are notified of a reschedule need more than 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we will reschedule you for a later date. At or within the 24 hour notice period, any reschedules will require a fee to be paid before a new appointment can be booked.

Cancellation Policy

While we understand unforeseen circumstances occur, for any appointments in need of a cancellation, a 48 hour notice is appreciated. A 24 hour notice is required.

If you cancel at or within the 24 hour window prior to your appointment, a fee will be charged and must be paid before your next appointment can be secured.

No Show Policy

If an appointment is missed due to a no-show, you will be subject to up to 100% of the expected fee for the appointment missed depending on the complexity and time commitment set aside. All fees must be paid before a new appointment can be booked. In addition, we may ask clients to pre-pay for the next appointment. Furthermore, if there are several no-shows in a row, we may ask for a card to keep on file for our stylists’ protection.

Good Standing Policy

If you have incurred a reschedule, cancellation, or a no-show fee, you must render payment before any new appointments can be made. If you refuse, you will be considered in “poor standing” with our salon, and therefore unable to book, receive, and enjoy our services until payment is rendered, bringing you back into “good standing.”

Billing Policy

All payments are due at completion of service. We currently do not provide invoices on which to pay against. All fees incurred due to reschedule, cancellations, or no-shows must be paid before we will book another appointment for you.

Chemical Policy

All new clients requesting chemical services will have a required chemical consultation prior to the actual application of the chemical in order to collaborate on what “look” will suit you best with your type of hair. Fees for the service(s) will be discussed during this consultation. During this discussion, depending on the complexity and length of the service(s), your stylist may require a non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel that your hair is not in a state appropriate to receive chemical service.

Esthetic Services Policy

All clients requesting esthetic services will be required to fill out the medical form and esthetic consultation form. This includes putting a card on file for “No Shows, “Latecomers” or “Reschedules” within 24 hours notice. Depending on the complexity and length of the service(s), your stylist may require a non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel that your hair is not in a state appropriate to receive chemical service.

Right to Refuse Service

As service providers dedicated to making our space comfortable, inclusive, and welcoming, we reserve the right to refuse service to ANYONE for ANY reason. If deemed necessary, we reserve the right to ask for your removal and ban all future services at Hair Haven Huntsville, LLC.

Children as Guest Policy

While we absolutely understand that childcare can be hard to find, we strongly encourage that children are only brought to the salon if they have an appointment scheduled with our stylist for that day. If you bring your child, we require notice ahead of time, and require that they are kept in one area with supervision.

We understand that sometimes, parents do not have a choice and must bring their children. If your child becomes unruly, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment or stop it altogether. We want to be respectful of the time of our other clients who come here for calm and quiet services at Hair Haven Huntsville.

Health Policy

We are extremely sympathetic to our clients that have to cancel due to illness. But we take our health and the health of the rest of our clientele very seriously. Coming into an appointment while sick or while someone in your household is seriously ill can possibly spread to others who are have major heath conditions. PLEASE STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK.

Client Confidentiality

We will never sell your data or use it inappropriately, and we will never share or disclose sensitive information about you.

Sensitive Situation Policy

Per our name and intention, we want to ensure Hair Haven Huntsville is a true haven for you. If you are ever in need of assistance with abuse or neglect, please know we are always here for you and will assist in finding the resources you need if we are asked.

To this end, we are not mandated reporters, so we will not assist, step-in, or contact authorities unless you wish for us to do so.
